THE WOMAN BEHIND THE CAMERA…
I’m 32 years old, I’ve been married to the love of my life for 10 years and we have 2 beautiful kids - 1 girl and 1 boy. We also have 3 dogs and a cat that we consider family! I love wine, ALL types of pasta, reading good books, candles and iced coffee. I sing on the worship team at our church and also help in the kids rooms, I only like to cook when I know the recipe, I’m extremely directionally challenged (thank God for the GPS), my nick name growing up was Doddelbug or Betty-Lou, I’m 5’0 and use a stool for every boudoir session for this reason haha! I’m the middle child with one older brother and one younger brother, I love sports and I’m a little too competitive lol. I also have some of the best family and friends a girl could ever ask for!
My photography journey started 8 years ago. I was a 911 dispatcher at the time and absolutely loved my job, but I found my true passion through the creativity of capturing special moments in time. Like most other newbies, I did just about every type of photography I could - seniors, engagements, wedding, elopement, newborn, random events, etc! In 2017 I started offering Boudoir photography and immediately knew that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. In 2020 I officially began my transition into becoming a full time Boudoir photographer and my only regret is not doing it sooner!
Along the way, I have learned that us women are tired of letting our insecurities run our lives. Knowing that I get to be a part of/influence women to be uplifting and empowering towards one another is an amazing thing to witness. I love having the chance to work with each of you and give the little confidence boost that you all deserve. I mean seriously... tell me that’s not the best job in the entire world! Seeing all of your reactions to the photos we creat together is my absolute favorite part of the job... Spoiler alert: I get just as emotional as you do over the photos. I truly love what I do and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
